Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans change. This policy explains what happens when a booking is cancelled, the cancellation fees that may apply, and how to request a refund. Cancellation windows are measured from the scheduled start time of the booking.
Cancellation windows

| Between 2 and 24 hours before the start time | A cancellation fee of 50% of the first hour at the sitter's hourly rate |
| Less than 2 hours before, or no-show | The first hour is charged at the sitter's hourly rate |
How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Stripe. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer. You will receive an email confirmation when a refund is processed.
If a sitter cancels
If your babysitter cancels a confirmed booking, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the service fee. Where possible, we will help you find a replacement sitter for your booking.
Disputes and exceptions
If a booking did not go as expected — for example, the sitter did not arrive, arrived significantly late, or there was a safety concern — please contact us. We review these situations case by case and may issue a full or partial refund outside the standard windows above at our discretion.

To request a refund or report a problem with a booking, contact our support team:

Please include the booking date, the sitter's name, and a brief description of the issue so we can resolve your request quickly. We aim to respond within a few hours.
This policy applies to bookings made through MinuteMayhem. It works together with our Terms of Service and Pricing. We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the most recent version.
